💻 About me

I’m Albin Henriksson — an IT engineer with a strong background in mathematics and theoretical physics.

I’ve spent the last 15+ years building, breaking, fixing, and scaling systems — from obsessive homelab setups to real-world infrastructure where uptime actually matters. I like work that sits at the intersection of reliability, security, and performance, and I’m at my best when I get to understand the whole system end-to-end.

What I typically do (and enjoy doing):

  • 🛠 Linux / Unix systems engineering (servers, networks, storage, automation)
  • 🧱 Infrastructure & platform work (virtualization, containers, IaC-ish workflows)
  • 🔐 Security-minded architecture (hardening, least privilege, sane backups)
  • ⚙️ DevOps practices (CI/CD, observability, “make it boring to operate”)

Before going full-time IT, I worked as a science teacher, which left me with one genuinely useful superpower: I’m good at explaining messy technical stuff in plain language — without dumbing it down.
